About Hypnotherapy & FAQ

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a complete state of physical, mental and emotional relaxation. During hypnotherapy, your mind is more open to suggestion and learning so you can change behavior, attitudes or habits more rapidly.

Hypnotherapy can take your conscious desire to do something and root that desire into your subconscious, thus making it easier to accomplish your goal and enhance your behavior.

Hypnotherapy is not an instant cure, but with some effort on your part and a sincere desire to reach your goal, it can be a powerful tool in altering habits and attitudes. It can produce results that almost seem magical.

Hypnotherapy is a safe, scientific approach to self-improvement. The American Medical Association accepted hypnotherapy as a therapeutic technique in 1956.

What can I use hypnotherapy for?

  1. Will I become unconscious during hypnotherapy?
No. You will never lose consciousness and will always know what you are saying and doing.

  2. Can I be made to do anything against my will?
No. You will always be in control and will not do anything against your will. You will not follow any suggestion that conflicts with your value system.

  3. Is it difficult to come out of hypnotherapy?
No one has ever been known to not come out of hypnotherapy. A hypnotherapist can easily bring you out of hypnotherapy. You can also bring yourself out at any time you wish.

  4. Are people who are easily hypnotized mentally weak?
On the contrary, the best hypnotic subjects are people with average or above-average intelligence and those with good concentration and imagination.

  5. How will feel when hypnotized?
The feeling can best be described as a light, dream-like state that feels absolutely wonderful.
